SBHS JROTC RIFLE TEAM COMPETES NATIONALLY
The South Brunswick High (SBHS) Army JROTC Rifle Team achieved a commendable
25th place overall in Army Service Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) recently held
in Anniston, Alabama. This achievement is particularly noteworthy considering the
competition include teams from over 1,700 programs across the United States. The
SBHS team’s success was driven by the outstanding performances of its members.
Juan Ramos led the team with an impressive average score of 521 out of 600, closely
followed by Justin Stevenson with a solid average of 509. Additionally, Brayden Sage
contributed with an average score of 502, while John Sizemore maintained a
commendable average of 462. Together, the team achieved a total score of 3,991,
showcasing their dedication, skill, and teamwork. Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Baker, the
senior JROTC instructor at SBHS, accompanied the JROTC Cadets during the trip. The
American Legion Post 543 Active-Duty Support Team partners with the Army JROTC
program at SBHS in many capacities as part of their mission.
