South brunswick high school annual jrotc military ball
The South Brunswick High School JROTC Cougar Battalion held its 2024 Military Ball on February
17, 2024, at the Brunswick Senior Center located in Supply, NC. Activities included many
military traditional Dining-In events, with a formal dinner and special recognition of the
sponsors, which included the Richard H. Stewart, Jr. American Legion Post 543, St. James, NC.
The Keynote Guest Speaker was Major General Justin Swanson, Commander of the 377th
Theater Support Command. He emphasized the importance of life’s foundation being built as
participants of the JROTC program, along with the long-term consequences of decisions made
during the High School years. American Legion Post 543 Members in attendance were
Commander Phillip McGhee and Active-Duty Support Committee Members Doug Pratt and
Aaron Largent. The Post 543 Members were accompanied by their wives.
