Message from Mike Carton

I want to extend my sincere thanks to our community for your continued support of Post 543’s mission to serve veterans, their families, and the youth of Brunswick County. Your involvement and encouragement make all the difference.

As we enter the 2026 fiscal year, our goal is to enhance and expand our current programs and services to better meet the needs of those we serve. Together, we can continue making a lasting impact.

My focus remains steadfast: to support and uplift our community. Post 543 is made up of dedicated individuals selfless patriots committed to service-who work tirelessly to make a difference not only in our local community, but across our state and nation.

We proudly take on the role of servants, stepping in to meet needs that often go unfilled or under- resourced. We are here to care for everyone we can, without hesitation or condition. Supporting others is not just our mission-it is our purpose.

When we serve with compassion, meet real needs, and stay true to our mission, we can confidently say we are fulfilling our duty.
